Tetyana Yablonska (1917-2005). Graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Art in 1941 where her tutor was F. Krychevsky. She worked in the sphere of easel painting and easel graphics, as well as monumental and decorative painting.

She was a participant of numerous exhibitions: republican (since 1945), all-USSR (since 1938), foreign (since 1951), and had numerous personal exhibitions in the USSR and abroad (since 1940). The artist was an Honoured Art Worker of the USSR (1951), a People’s Artist of the USSR (1960), a member – reporter of the Academy of Art of the USSR (1953), a professor (1967), a laureate of state prizes of the USSR. T. Yablonska also received the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and a bronze medal on the international exhibition in Brussels.
