Shyshko Sergiy Fedorovych (1911 - 1997) - an outstanding Ukrainian painter, master of landscape and still life. Born in the village of Nosivka, Chernihiv region. From 1929 till 1933 he studied at Kyiv Institute of Art under the guidance of F. Krychevskyy, in Leningrad Academy of Arts (1943) under the guidance of B. Yoganson. People's Artist of the USSR since 1974. State Prize winner of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic named after T. Shevchenko since 1982. He lived and worked in Kyiv. His works are in kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in the Art Museums of Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk and in many others.
