Bakaev Sergei (1922-2010) - Ukrainian artist, painter and graphic artist. Born in the city of Semipalatinsk. In 1947 - 1951 he studied at the Simferopol Art School. N. Samokisha in B. Bernadskii, T. Kuznetsova, M. Kroshitskogo.

Exhibitor art exhibitions since 1960. Member with CFS 1961. Zasluzhenny artist Crimea, a veteran of World War II, Commander of the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals "For Courage", "For Victory over Germany" and other works are in the collections of National Art Museum, Kharkov Art Museum, Chernihiv Historical Museum, Alupka Palace Museum, Simferopol Art Museum etc.
